WHY HOV?

First off, why not HOV?

  • We have our own facility which allows us to schedule multiple practices, clinics and camps!
  • No team is predetermined. We offer equal opportunity tryouts.
  • Each team has their own court for practice times.
  • We have a slew of 20 highly trained coaches excited to be a part of your child's volleyball experience.
  • We offer a coaches mentorship program where some of our highly qualified lead coaching mentors pour into our coaches to offer insight on practice planning, communication with both athletes and parents, skill training, and implementing practice plans to tournament play. (Coach Chris Phillips - D1, D2, NAIA, and men's collegiate coach; Lara Hite, collegiate athlete and coach of multiple volleyball programs within the community. Athena Aronson, collegiate athlete and former Head Volleyball Coach at Brookville High School who went undefeated 4 years in a row in district).
  • Our Junior Volunteer Program allows for our older athletes (14 years and older) to volunteer within our in-house programs (Volley Kids, Volley Juniors, Volley Juniors Elite, and Middle School Prep) to help supplement their travel cost.
  • Our teams will be participating in multiple community outreach opportunities throughout the travel season.
  • All travel teams will have the experience and knowledge of both a head coach and assistant coach
  • We offer 2-4 practices a week dependent on the level of team.
  • Positional clinics will be offered throughout the travel season, as well as camps and clinics throughout the spring, summer and fall to assist in any skills your player may feel they need additional practice.

For more than 20 years, Central Virginia Volleyball Club has been committed to providing young athletes competitive travel program in the central Virginia area.
