"She’s really enjoying herself, so thank you. When she got in the car after camp yesterday, one of the things she mentioned is that your assistants are really positive and encouraging. “Even when someone doesn’t do a skill right, they say ‘let’s try that again’ in a supportive way.” Please be proud of a program you put together where a 12 year old, who is brand new to the sport, notices and shares that feedback on her first day!
Her first words in the door tonight were that you were sending a coupon and she wants a volleyball. Message received, and I love that she’s into it! ;)
She is so excited to be there! And I'm beyond thrilled there are so many offerings and at the growth of the program!
She is mildly autistic and with that comes difficulties in gross motor movements, how she communicates with others, and her confidence/anxiety. We have seen her blossom and improve in all three of these areas so what a blessing this is to not only her, but our family!
Do your families need help paying youth sports registration fees?
The Every Kid Sports Pass can help by providing families with up to $150, four times per year, per child.
How it works:
For your families to take advantage of the Pass you’ll need to ensure your organization:
· Accepts split payments or has league/team PayPal or square account
· Sport is at a youth recreation-level
· Program/season lasts a minimum of four weeks
The family qualifications are:
· Child is enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC
· Child aged 4-18
GIVING FOR A GOOD CAUSE WITH KIDS CAN SUCCEED.
Youths and parents apply online to KIDS CAN SUCCED in the GAME for “Sport Funds” of up to $50 to put toward the registration cost of kids’ activities of their choice costing $225 or less per season.
