About Central Virginia Volleyball
Central Virginia Volleyball, Inc was formed in November 2003 and is a non-profit 501c(3) corporation serving the Lynchburg and the surrounding area for girls and boys ages 18 and under. We offer a recreation program, a juniors' travel program (HOV), and a developmental program.
Central Virginia Volleyball, Inc., operates a recreational volleyball program (indoor) for the youths of the region. Youth registration is open to all interested boys and girls ages 8-18 without regard to playing ability. The youth recreation season begins in May and extends through the end of June each year.
Central Virginia Volleyball operates a travel volleyball program (HOV) for boys' and girls' ages 18 and under. This program is designed to promote volleyball education and growth of USA Junior Volleyball throughout the Central Virginia area. The teams compete from January through April in tournaments sanctioned by the USA Volleyball, which is the governing body for volleyball in the United States.
The developmental program is designed to focus on the technical development of youth players between the U10-U16 age groups through the use of highly qualified coaching and a series of training sessions. The developmental program starts mid-January and runs through the end of March.
